Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville Florida seeks to identify potential sources for the design, manufacture, testing and implementation of improvements to the antenna feed system for the APS-115 for use on the P-3 aircraft. A replacement antenna feed assembly is required to enhance antenna performance, improve reliability, and reduce maintenance costs. The replacement antenna feed assembly shall include any required mechanical structure, support rods, cable holding brackets, adjustable mounts, coax cable, etc. Prototype production for one unit shall require Government first article test and acceptance. Forty additional units, incrementally delivered, will be required after Government acceptance of the first article. Prototype will be installed and tested by the contractor on a Government furnished antenna. Interested qualified parties shall demonstrate their capability to perform this requirement by providing an unclassified Statement of Capability (SOC) on company letterhead, not to exceed five pages (single-spaced, 12-pitch). As a minimum, the SOC shall address the following areas: 1. Capability and experience in designing, developing, integrating and testing of products similar in nature. 2. Specific technical data required in performing this effort. 3. Past and/or current performance on similar contracts with DOD, DON or other agencies to include dollar value, complexity and point of contact information for the last three years. 4. Business size (i.e., large business, small business, veteran owned, 8(a) certified business, woman-owned business, etc). For purposes of reporting business size, the applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334511; size standard is 750 employees. This sources sought synopsis is issued for the purpose of determining market interest, feasibility, and capability of sources and does not constitute a Request for Proposal. Information herein is not binding upon the Government. The Government will not be responsible for SOC preparation costs. Submission documents will not be returned. A solicitation document does not exist at this time.
