- Air Mobility Command (AMC), is hosting AMC Industry Day 2004 at Scott AFB, IL 1-2 Sep 2004. The objective of this event is to provide Air Mobility Command’s (AMC) strategic roadmap to industry and research conduits in a symposium like atmosphere. Each directorate within AMC will have the opportunity to share their ‘way ahead’ briefings to a keenly interested audience. Industry Day provides a legal yet dynamic environment for information flow from the command to the senior leaders in the commercial and research/academic sectors. Industry and research conduits gain by gathering a first hand understanding of AMC’s priorities and mission direction in the near, mid, and long terms. Air Mobility Command gains from products better suited to AMC’s requirements, at lower costs, and within the desired timeframes. By sharing our vision with the leaders and representatives of industry and research centers, we hope to give them the opportunity to match their strategies with our strategic mission view. Our ultimate goals are effective products, at affordable costs, ready to perform the mission when we need them to support the national military strategy.
