Description

This a notice that the Government intends to award a contract to PsiTech Inc., 18368 Bandilier Circle, Fountain Valley, CA 92708 for a High-Speed Image Capture System (HSMM). PsiTech is the designer and manufacturer of the PsiTech Sirocco DIMS (fir st generation system). The HSMM is the second generation of the PsiTech Sirocco DIMS. The item must be compatible with existing system and it must meet stringent computational and size requirements. PsiTech has proprietary rights on the design and is th e only known source that can meet our requirement. Other than full and open competition will be used under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirement. This notice is not a r equest for quotations. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties must respond by 1:00 p.m. 16 March 2005. See Note 22.
