Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center intends to acquire one (1) three axis closed loop coil control assembly including solenoids. Technical specifications will be made available with formal request for quote. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-05-Q-2744. A firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated. This is set-aside for small business. FOB Destination Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI. It is expected to place a purchase order with Billingsley Aerospace & Defense, Inc. They are the only known source for this replacement control assembly. All other timely offers will be considered. Required delivery is one month after award. NAICS code is 334419; size standard is 500 employees. Estimated RFQ release date is March 15, 2005. Offers received after this date are late and will not be considered for award.
