Description

THIS NOTICE SERVES AS A (PRE) SOLICITATION NOTICE This requirement is for the procurement of a construction firm to provide all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform restroom renovations on the first floor of the Social Security Administration, Wilkes-Barre Data Operations Center, 1150 East Mountain Drive, Wilkes-Barre, PA. The extent of work includes selective demolition of existing conditions and the installation of new flooring, new sinks, mirrors, partitions, and govt. supplied dispensers throughout. The approximate duration of this contract will be 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost of this project is between $50,000. to $100,000. Award will be a Small Business Set Aside firm fixed price contract and the procurement method will be a competitive negotiated RFP. Source Selection Procedures as identified in FAR Part 15.3 will be utilized in the selection of a firm offering the best value to the Government in terms of price and technical merit and whose performance is expected to best meet stated Government requirements. Accordingly, offerors will be evaluated based on technical merit with respect to demonstrated successful past performance. Offeror must provide three similar type and size jobs performed within the past five (5) years. For this procurement, technical evaluation and price factors are of equal value. The NAICS code applicable to this project is 238990. Awardee will be permitted to have all on site employees cleared through the GSA security clearance process.
