Description

THIS MODIFICATION CANCELS THIS SYNOPSIS IN ITS ENTIRETY. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) proposes to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) with Kathrein Inc., Scala Division for ten (10)weather antennas for ten different locations. The required salient features of the antennas are: 4 x HDB-155 broadband half-wave dipole antenna array, 162.475 MHz, 1 degree electrical downtilt, 8 dBd maximum array gain, 500-watts maximum input power rating, with 50 ohm type ?N? female input connector, includes mounting hardware to affix individual antennas to contractor supplied 2-3/8? OD pipe/mast.***This synopsis is issued for information only. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether or not use of competitive procedures to fulfill this requirement would be in the Government?s best interest and must address qualifications pertinent to this requirement. This announcement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13. Estimated government cost is between $25,000 and $100,000.
