- The U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) has a requirement for Environmental Remediation Services for the Directorate of Safety, Health, and Environment. The Contractor shall be responsible for fully executing a Guaranteed Fixed Price Remediation (GFPR) approach under a Performance-Based Contract (PBC) by conducting required environmental restoration services for which the United States Department of the Army (the Army ) is statutorily responsible; addressing any and all unforeseen environmental, scheduling, and regulatory issues; and assuming contractual liability and responsibility for the achievement of the performance objectives for sites at Aberdeen Proving Ground (the Installation ) including both on and off-site contamination for which th e Army is responsible. The Contractor shall have the capability and experience to perform, or provide, a wide range of investigative, remedial design, remedial construction, and remediation services required for hazardous substance and waste sites. Wor k may include, for example, site investigation, site characterization, study, evaluation, proposed plans, records of decision, remedial design, remedial construction, remediation of contaminated sites, interim remedial action completion report, and monitor ing. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The period of performance will start June 1, 2005 or from date of award, whichever occurs first and continue for seven years. A solicitation will be posted to the following website (https://acqu isition.army.mil) on or about April 1, 2005. Once in the site, click on Contracting Opportunities Search, enter the solicitation number, and then click on the solicitation to gain access. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. Amendment(s) if any, will be posted at the same location of the solicitation.
