Description

This acquisition includes the purchase of part numbered items as well as competitive items (government drawings or specifications) where Derbyshire Machine is the approved, and/or have supplied the items in the past. NSNs that will be awarded in accordance with the government drawings/speifications are showing on the Section B spreadsheet at the website shown below. Offerors should be aware that there is a potential for split award. The intent is to award and Indefinite Delivery Type Contract for one year base plus four option years. Solicitation and NSNs will be available for download for download on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil on its issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. For questions on the content of the solicitation contact the primary point of contact. See Notes 1,9 and 26. All responsible sources may submit and offer/quote which shall be considered. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of March 29, 2005. The Small Business size standard is not to exceed 500 employees. Drawings/Specifications will be available through the DIBBS solicitation link in the synopsis on the issue date. The proposed procurment contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply class 2030,4320 & 4820. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
