Description

Preventive/Service Contract for ALL EMERGENCY GENERATORS at the Northport VA Medical Center. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The VA Bronx VISN3 Network Acquisition & Logistics Program intends to award a service contract from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer submitted for this solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government. Price and Past Performance considered. Since this is a Direct Patient Care issue, as well as a Public Safety issue particular interest will be made in the offerors location and ability to respond to the site in TWO HOURS or LESS. The solicitation calls to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to perform maintenance and bi-annual inspections on all emergency generators located at the Northport VA Medical Center, Northport New York. (Long Island). This solicitation falls under NAICS Code 811310 with size standard 6.0M. Period of performance will be from April 1, 2005 through September 30, 2005 with provisions for four (4) one year options to extend. This is a Firm-Fixed price contract with indefinite quantity for extra work. No fax or telephone requests will be accepted. Electronic bids will not be accepted. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. Offers are due by March 22, 2005 at 10:30 am.
