Description

The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, NE intends to award a sole source 12-month extension to existing contract F25600-01-F-0018 with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) in order to provide ?continued? support until a possible follow-on contract is awarded. Statutory authority for this sole source award is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Services consist of Intelligence/Communications Systems Program Management, Imagery/Geospatial Systems Support, System Integration Support and Future Planning support functions to support the United States Strategic Command Intelligence multi-media networks and additional systems directly and indirectly supporting the mission of the Commander in Chief, USSTRATCOM. This extension will be awarded from 1 Oct 2005 ? 30 Sep 2006 under Other Than Full and Open Competiton. This is an extension to a previously competed award. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government to not compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for the 12-month period at this time.
