Description

Requirements are issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation for six items to be awarded as a 5 year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price contract. The six items to be procured are: CLIN 0001: Protective Entrance (P E), NSN: 4240-01-331-2938, P/N: 5-19-11021. The PE is used with the M20A1 and M28 Collective Protection Systems. The PE allows personnel to move from a contaminated area into the shelter without introducing contaminants into the protective shelter. The PE consists of a collapsible aluminum support frame with the following characteristics: 1) Triangular Shape Case with butyl-coated fabric enclosure for three entrance/exit doors. 2) When erected, the PE is free standing and each door has a window. 3) T he PE comes with the following components: a) Timer, b) Magnehelic Gauges, c) Dome Light, d) Power Supply. Toxicological Testing is required. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 51 each with a maximum over the life of the contract of 250 each. CLIN 0002: Maintenance Kit, NSN: 4240-01-331-2921, P/N: 5-19-10950. The Maintenance Kit contains materials required to perform maintenance operation on the Motor Blower used in the M20A1 and M28 Collective Protection Systems. The Maintenance Kit is designed to contain the following items: 1) Time Meter, 2) Fan Motor Blowers Installation Gaskets, 3) Flat Screen Air Filter, 4) Fan Motor Blowers. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 300 each with a maximum over the life of the contract of 1,500 each. CLIN 0003: Motor Blower Assembly, NSN: 4240-01-330-8885, P/N: 5-19-10872. The Motor Blower Assembly is used in the M20A1 and M28 Collective Protection Systems. The Motor Blower Assembly provides approximately 200 CFM airflow to the protective shelter thro ugh the Hermetically Sealed Filter Canister (HSFC). It will operate on 110 VAC/60 Hz or 220 VAC/50 Hz. The Motor Blower Assembly provides electrical power for the Recirculation Filter and PE through J2 output connectors. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 0 (zero) each with a maximum over the life of the contract of 250 each. CLIN 0004: Tunnel Airlock Litter Patient (TALP), NSN: 4240-01-330-8886, P/N: 5-19-11342. The TALP is used in the M28 Collective Protection System. The TALP allows litter -borne personnel to move from a contaminated area into the shelter without introducing contaminants into the protective shelter. The TALP comes with the following components, a Timer and Magnehelic Gauges. Toxicological Testing is required. Total estima ted quantity over 5 years is 63 each with a maximum over the life of the contract of 250 each. CLIN 0005: M20A1 Support Kit, NSN: 4240-01-506-9882, P/N: 5-19-11190-10. The support kit contains materials required to initiate and sustain operation of th e M20A1 Simplified Collective Protection System. The support kit is compact and man-portable. It is designed to contain the following items: 1) Butyl coated Air Ducts, 2) 110 & 220 VAC Cable Adapter, 3) SARANEX Repair Straps, Patches & Tape, 4) Hose Cla mps, 5) Rubber Gaskets, 6) Motor Blower, 7) Extension Lamp. Toxicological Testing is required. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 150 each with a maximum over the life of the contract of 500 each. CLIN 0006: Support Kit Room/Tent, NSN: 4240-01-40 6-9350, P/N: 5-19-11190-20. The support kit contains materials required to initiate and sustain operation of the M28 Collective Protection System. The support kit is compact and man-portable. It is designed to contain the following items: 1) Butyl coa ted Air Ducts, 2) 110 & 220 VAC Cable Adapter, 3) SARANEX Repair Straps, Patches & Tape, 4) Hose Clamps, 5) Rubber Gaskets, 6) Motor Blower. Toxicological Testing is required. This CLIN has a guaranteed minimum quantity of 294 each. Total estimated quan tity over 5 years is 2,700 each with a maximum over the life of the contract of 5,000 each. First Article Testing is required on all six items. FOB Destinatio n. Estimated ordering periods will be from award date through 30 June 2010. Estimated solicitation issue date is 31 Mar 2005. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TD P in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet.
