Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires one (1) each Tube Bending Machine Model CNC040 (or equal), and all offers meeting or exceeding the government?s requirement will be considered. Contractors shall submit with their proposal the technical specifications that meet or exceed the salient characteristics of the government request. The salient characteristics are as follows; The tube-bending machine should be rugged with a heavy duty pump motor capable of bending steel tubing with an outside diameter of 1??, stainless steel with an outside diameter of 1 3/8?and non-ferrous tubing with an outside diameter of 1??. It should offer a fast set-up and changeover to accommodate different types of tubing. The machine should be capable of bending tubing of any length and handle tube lengths up to 120? over the mandrel. The bending machine will have the ability to cut the tube to proper length before bending. The tube-bending machine should have a PC based windows operating system (with a help screen and a diagnostic program to troubleshoot any problems with the tube bending machine and PC), a high-resolution color graphics software. The PC should be capable to operate in a manual mode (to allow tooling set-up and adjustments), as well as an automatic mode (to run a complete part cycle with no operator input once the cycle has started), have a large hard drive for part storage and recall of previous bending information and be able to display machine offsets. Included will be a complete owners manual of the tube-bending machine with prints. NAICS 333513 applies. The Government anticipants awarding one Firm-Fixed Price contract through competitive Small Business Set-Aside procurement procedures. The solicitation will be posted on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. Select ?Doing Business? and then ?Open Solicitations." Look for amendments on the web page.
