Description

The Unites States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to release Request for Proposals (RFP), H92222-04-R-0033, for TACLAN related equipment, engineering, procurement, integration, testing, fielding and training, as required technical support, and life cycle sustainment on or about 25 March 2005. The date set for receipt of proposals will be 45 days after release of the RFP. The resultant contract will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract with Cost Reimbursement, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Firm Fixed Price, and Time and Material pricing arrangements anticipated. The Government will make a single-award contract pursuant to the criteria setforth in the RFP. The total maximum ordering period on the contract is five years from the date of the contract award. Firms are encouraged to review the web site regularly upon release of the RFP for updated information. Any questions regarding the solicitation, prior to release and after release, shall be directed to the Contracting Officer, in writing, via email to Lisa Costello, Contracting Officer, email costell@socom.mil. Note: This requirement is still being solicited as a competitive Small Business Set Aside. The size standard for this acquisition is 150 employees based upon an Information Technology Value Added Reseller (ITVAR) exception cited for the NAICS Code 541519.
