Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation to EXTERIOR PAINTING PROJECT: HSCG35-05-Q-6ZV081 for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 112.6 as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. The U.S. Coast Guard requires a contractor fully qualified in the field of painting to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and incidentals to prepare and paint, as specified, the exterior surfaces of the U.S. Coast Guard housing unit located on Lifesaver Drive, Sitka, AK (Alaska). There are 3 units to be painted that consist of 6,000 sq ft each. The estimated start work date is early April 2005, with a performance period up to end of June 2005. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. The procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238320 and the applicable size standard is $2.0 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. This is small business set-aside procurement. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form.
