Description

Service Contract for ARMORED CAR SERVICES at the VA New Jersey Health Care System, serving the East Orange and Lyons Campuses. The VA Bronx VISN3 Network Acquisition & Logistics Program intends to award a service contract from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer submitted for this solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government. Price and Past Performance considered. The solicitation calls for full ARMORED CAR SERVICES complete with ARMED GUARDS to provide 5 day a week (M-F) pick up and drop off to two sites on each campus. Each campus has its one local bank where deposits will be made. Additional pick-ups and deposits to the Brick Clinic will be on an ?as needed? basis. Contract award is contingent on servicing both sites in strict accordance to the enclosed ?statement of work.? This solicitation falls under NAICS Code 561613 with size standard 10.50M. Period of performance will be from April 1, 2005 through September 30, 2005 with provisions for four (4) one year options to extend. This is a Firm-Fixed price contract with indefinite quantity for extra work. No fax or telephone requests will be accepted. Electronic bids will not be accepted. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. Offers are due by March 24, 2005 at 10:30 am.
