- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Denver Distribution Center intends to establish a contract for pick-up and processing of scrap x-ray film. Contractor will be responsible for providing VA Asset Management Service (AMS), Hillsborough, NJ, a dropped trailer for the purpose of loading onto it, a mixed variety of scrap x-ray film, that may include, but is not restricted to, negative, jacketed, rolled, and green scrap x-ray film. The quantity of each type may vary from shipment to shipment. The dropped trailer will be a minimum of, but not restricted to 45 feet in length, and must be capable of hauling between 40,000 to 42,000 pounds when fully loaded. Contractor will process the scrap x-ray film for silver and plastic content, and remit payment ot the Department of Veterans Affairs. Request should contain the company's name, street address, telephone number and point of contact. No telephone requests will be honored. Solicitation package is available now and can be downloaded from the VA Office of Acquisition and Materiel Management s (O&AMM) internet web site at http://www.va.gov/oamm/busopp/sols.htm. The solicitation number is 791-3S-05. This is a small business set-aside. Offers are due by close of business (4:00pm local time) on April 8, 2005.
