Description
The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Tampa Microwave Lab, Inc. 12160 Racetrack Road, Tampa, FL. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3663. The NAICS code is 334220. Ref#: F1S0AE5054B002. This procurement is for support of the 412 Test Wing. Project; Integrated Network Enhanced Telemetry (iNET). The acquisition is as follows: Item: Transverter Module, 1.7GHz to 1.9GHz (Model#: XVTR-1800-2251). The iNET project will be using the Harris Corporation?s SecNet 11-plus-demonstration system during the characterization tests. SecNet 11-plus is a secure wireless local area network solution based on the commercial IEEE 802.11b standards and has been certified as part of the National Security Agency (NSA) Commercial COMSEC Evaluation Program (CCEP). Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. In addition, the response should include Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items in accordance to FAR 52.212-3. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, go to www.arnet.gov to obtain a copy or contact the contract negotiator by email to receive a copy. Any responses received without 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12.
