Description

SOLE-SOURCE SPARES REQUIREMENT TO VACCO INDUSTRIES INC. (CAGE: 1PVC5), 10350 VACCO STREET, SOUTH EL MONTE, CA 91733-3399. GOVT DOES NOT POSSESS SUFFICIENT MANUFACTURING DATA TO PURCHASE COMPETITIVELY. VACCO INDUSTRIES INC. HAS ACQUIRED ALL MANUFACTURING RIGHTS AND DATA PERTAINING TO THIS NSN LISTED ITEM. VACCO INDUSTRIES INC. IS THE ONLY KNOWN SOURCE THAT CAN SATISFY THE GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENT. NEW MANUFACTURE SOLICITED, however, the Government will consider New/Unused Government Surplus as long as it passes the stringent Government inspection requirements. Surplus inspection requirements will be included in the Solicitation when issued. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. Noun: RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY NSN: 1680-01-141-7358RK Part Number: 2752021-102 Applicable to: F-15 Aircraft QTY: 8 EA Description: The aerial refueling receptacle is designed to provide the aircraft with inflight refueling capability. Destination: Tinker AFB, OK FB2039 Required Delivery Date: 8 EA, On or Before 31 JAN 2007. NOTE: Faxed solicitation requests can be submitted to the buyer, James Chandler, Tinker AFB, at (405) 739-3462. Under the authority of FAR 6.302, the proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation, when issued. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) in the planned solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer, their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. FY05 FUNDS APPLY TO THIS ACQUISITION. AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS CLAUSE SHALL APPLY. NO OBLIGATION MAY BE INCURRED BY THE GOVERNMENT UNTIL FY05 FUNDS AVAILABILITY HAS BEEN CERTIFIED.
