- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F2Y3CES5034A100 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26. This acquisition is set aside exclusively for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 335312. The size standard for a small business under the NAICS code is 1000 employees. CLIN 0001-DESCRIPTION?QUANTITY AND UNIT OF ISSUE. Description of items to be acquired: Services Non personal: Contractor to Provide all labor, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation and all other essentials necessary for the removal, of 1 EA defective supply fan unit, Manufactured by Baldor. The government will retain possession of the defective motor and will be responsible for removing it from the site once removed. Contractor is to provide 1 EA new motor with 60HP; RPM of 880, 460 Volts and a 405T frame, possible manufacture Balder OR EQUAL. Motor must meet all EPA safety standards. The contractor will be required to provide and install the new motor. A site visit is scheduled 21 March 05 at 9 AM PST. Contractors are highly encouraged to attend. Contractors attending the site visit will meet at the main gate visitor center at McChord AFB 30 minute?s prior and will be escorted to the site location. All line items will be awarded in the aggregate. Delivery and completion of services by: 23 May 05. Place of Performance is: Bldg 1160 McChord AFB, WA 98438. FOB Destination.
