Countryman, Contract Specialist, Mark Rice (315) 772-5441 DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation W911S2-05-T-0066 is issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures specified in Part 13 of the Federal Acqu isition Regulation (FAR). Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16. The standard industrial code is 7513 (NAICS code 532120) and the business size standard is $21.5 Million. This procurement is reserved for Small Business. The Request for Quote will be evaluated based on price, whether technically acceptable, and responsible offer/quote. Furnish and deliver the following items: CLIN 0001: Rental of two (2) 5 ton, 2 wheel drive stake rack trucks used to haul ammunition, for the time period 20 March 2005 thru 30 December 2005, including tire chains, full service maintenance, insurance and u nlimited mileage. CLIN 0002: Service calls and emergency towing for the trucks/items in CLIN 0001. FOB delivery will be to Fort Drum, NY.
