Description

This posting constitutes the United States Military Academy's (USMA) notice of intent to award a sole source contract to LPKF Distribution, 28220 SW Boberg Road, Wilsonville, Oregon 97070. LPKF will provide a circuit board plotter to USMA for the es timated amount of $28,075. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304c(1). USMA selected the LPKF ProMat M60 circuit board plotter because it is the only plotter with the combination of the following characteristics: 1. Variable speed dust extraction system, 2. Proprietary software interface that tracks and extends tool life, 3. Working area of 21 inches by 14 inches, 4. Pneumatic controls, 5. Through-hole plating system that does not require chemical plating, and 6. Acoustic cabinet to reduce noise generation. The applicable NAICS code is 332212. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers. Interested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the designated representative. Responses to this notice must be received within two (2) calendar days of the date of this notice via e-mail to karen.finley@usma.edu. See Numbered Note 22. Insert 2 days in lieu of 45 days in Note 22. A de termination by the Government not to compete this requirement, upon receipt of response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. There will be no solicitation available.
