Description

Applicator Pad Material for the M291 Decon Kit. Applicator Pad Material consist of the following: polyester fiber (50/50 blend of 4 3/4 & 15 denier) 75% Acrylic binder (Phoplex TR407 Resin); material shall be made using airlay method in accordance w ith Dwg. 5-7-2311. Currently, the only approved source of supply is Kem-Wove, Inc., Charlotte, NC. However, other vendors may become approved sources of supply by submitting an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) along with a sample of the material and a statement that your firm can meet all the requirements of the specifications to the Item Manager requesting that their firm to be added to the drawings as an approved source. Note: This is done at the vendor's own expense. This solicitation will result in a requirements contract for a period of 1 year and 4 option years. RFP W911RP-05-R-0016 will issue on or about 30 Mar 2005 and close on or about 30 Apr 2005. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside (see Note 1). The solic itation document contains information that has been designed as Militarily Critical Technical Data. Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may be a coy of the solicitation. All requests for copies of the solicitation document must include a certified copy of DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement. See Note 8.
