Description

This is a notice of intent to enter into a contract with DURATEK SERVICES, INC. for treatment of mixed waste for disposal. Waste description: The waste is off-specification chemicals as well as waste from maintenance activities and research and deve lopment processes. The physical form may be solid, liquid, or semi-solid (sludge). Includes but not limited to oils, salts, greases, organic and inorganic liquids, resins and oxides mixed with variety of radionuclides including transuranics. Must be able t o treat all of the listed waste types above for disposal. All applicable permits and licenses are required. Any contract award will be under other than full and open competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers. A determina tion not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
