- The U. S. Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, on behalf of Redstone Technical Test Center(RTTC), Development Test Command, US Army Test and Evaluation Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to FLIR Systems Inc. Specifically, RTTC has the need for a Merlin VisGaAs camera (1ea, p/n 414-0047-SP), with 8mm, 25mm, 50mm, and 16mm Visible lens C-Mount, Merlin to PCI 10 feet cable, PCI Frame Grab Card. The Merlin VisGaAs will work with current software and no additional software is required. The Merlin VisGaAs is the only know NIR radiometric camera with VisGaAs detector that is compatible with existing equipment. This announcement is published as a Sole Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received by 4:30 p.m. EST March 24, 2005 will be considered by the Government. The anticipated award date is March 25th, 2005.
