Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, Eastern Region intends to make award on a sole source basis, to AXYS Analytical Services LTD, Sidney, BC to provide Congeners analysis of previous analysed water in the Neponset River Estuary and Boston Harbor. The analysis is to provide data for the area which are comparable and not an artifact of laboratory procedures. Since AXYS performed the original analysis it is imperative that the same laboratory be used to analyse newly collected water. This will ensure that previously collected data and newly collected data are comparable and not an artifact of laboratory procedures. There is no written solicitiation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about March 23, 2005 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541380. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published. See note 1.
