- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS), has a requirement for fuel tank leak detection and inspection services. The following services will be required:1.Project Planning and Project Management. 2.Precision Leak Detection of two tanks with fuels contained within the tanks.3.Cleaning of the tanks to support visual inspection of the coating system. 4.Conduct visual inspection of tanks after cleaning to meet the requirements of API Standard 653, Dec 2001, American Petroleum Institute (API 653). 5. Testing the condition of the coating system using a high voltage holiday detection system or equivalent to determine areas of possible coating failures, potential leak sites or areas requiring repairs. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents.
