- Description
- Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract to Litton Systems, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Northrop Grumman), Woodland Hills, California for non-personal services to provide Contractor Engineering and Technical Services (CETS) for the AN/TYQ-23(V)4 Tactical Air Operations Module (TAOM) and Sector Anti-aircraft Warfare Facility (SAAWF). This support encompasses the operation, maintenance, and training of personnel for the TAOM, SAAWF, and associated peripheral equipment and requires expert technical knowledge in all aspects of the theory, operation, and maintenance procedures specific to the equipment for which the technical services are provided. The TAOM is a transportable, modularized, automated command and control system that provides automatic acquisition, identification, and tracking of all aircraft, and directs air defense for its area of responsibility. The SAAWF is a TAOM adjunct suite of equipment providing expanded aviation command and control capabilities. No RFP is available for competitive bidding; however, interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability for satisfying the requirement. No telephonic requests will be accepted. All communications shall be in writing to the Contracting Officer listed below. Proprietary information shall be clearly identified as such and will be protected. Numbered note 22 applies.
