- Description
- Previously, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) posted two pre-solicitation notices to FedBizzOpps with regard to the anticipated Geostationary operational Satellite, series R (GOES-R) Program Definition and Risk Reduction (PDRR) solicitation. The first notice was posted November 29, 2004 and the second was posted February 2, 2005. The notices provided background to the NOAA GOES-R acquisition and suggested an RFP release date of March 15, 2005. Due to internal review scheduling conflicts, the GOES-R Program did not release the RFP on March 15, 2005. NOAA anticipates that the GOES-R RFP release date will be on or about March 22, 2005. NOAA’s GOES-R Program office provided the GOES-R PDRR Partial Draft RFP on December 30, 2004 and a full Draft RFP on January 28, 2005. These and other documents are available through the GOES-R Program web site http://osd.goes.noaa.gov/index.php. It was anticipated that the Program will release another Draft RFP March 15, 2005. While several of the documents have recently been updated, a full draft RFP will not be released at this time. We encourage interested parties to view the information posted to the GOES-R Program web site. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (15-MAR-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
