Description

In support of Ship Repair Facility(SRF) Yokosuka, Japan and detachments in Sasebo and Singapore, the Fleet Industrial Supply Puget Sound is soliciting for web-based subscription services that provide access to technical data, information, and standards. There are an estimated 186 potential users for all locations. Multiple site licenses shall be required. This acquisition is conducted under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 (Test Program for Certain Commercial Items). The period of performance is for a base year starting 1 February 2005 through 31 January 2006. Two option years are being considered. This acquisition is subject to Trade Agreements. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. The government anticipates issuing the solicitation on or about January 5 2005, with a response date of 18 January 2005. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of quotes is not available at this time.
