- The purpose of this amendment is to 1) change the response date of this solicitation; 2) clarify the text of the finish color for Item 0001 bookcase, Item 0002 bookcase, and Item 0003 bookcase; 3) delete the model number DKS2448-C for the Straight Front Desk for Item 0007; 4) Increase quantity of model number DKS3066-C, Straight Front Desk of Item 0007; 5) Provide additional details for delivery/entry points; and 6) Delete and add information from the solicitation requirement. A. The response date is hereby changed to 23 March 2005 B. Change the text color for the bookcase model BC3668-C in Items 0001, 0002, and 0003 from "Maple" to "Cherry". C. Delete model number DKS2448-C, Straight Front Desk, 24x28x29 for Item 0007. D. Increase the quantity of model number DKS3066-C, Straight Front Desk, 30x66x29 from three each to five each for Item 0007. E. For the purposes of delivery and entry description, the furniture will be delivered on the ground floor, and the building entry is a double door and the office entries are standard entry size. F. Delete the statement, “The furniture must be all wood; particle board, plywood, etc is not acceptable” and add the statement,” For information purposes AVA model furniture consists of a commercial grade, hi pressure Multiple Density Fiber (MDF) core. Submit specifications for any “or equals” with your quote.” G. No other changes.
