- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) intends to award a Sole Source Fixed-Price Contract in accordance with FAR Part 12. This action is under the authority of FAR 6.302.1, only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. The USCG intends to procure technical services from Brunswick Commercial and Government Products Incorporated to provide a Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) package that is required to provide program logistical and engineering support for the Coast Guard?s fleet of 25? Transportable Port Security Boats (TPSB). Brunswick Commercial and Government Products Incorporated is located at 420 Megan Z Avenue, Edgewater, FL 32132. Brunswick was awarded contracts to provide the Coast Guard with deployable 25? Transportable Port Security Boats for use by Post Security Units in both the United States and overseas. A Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) package is critical to ensuring platform logistics support, and configuration control and management of the TPSB?s boat structure and standardized installed equipment. The technical documentation and computer aided design drawings that are required for the development of the Provisioning Technical Documentation package are proprietary in nature and cannot be duplicated by any other company.
