Description
The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall AFB FL would like to award a purchase order pursuant to FAR 12.6 to furnish and install five (5) drive-on floating boat lifts (EZ Port 4 OR EQUAL) constructed of molded polyethylene composition, beige in color with polyurethane rollers, to support 17' - 19' v-hull, center console boats. Also provide and install up to two (2) electrically controlled, adjustable pontoon lifts to support 19' - 26' single hull or twin pontoons type boat, complete with all electrical connections and housing for the 325 Services Squadron Outdoor Recreation facility (Bonita Bay, BBORC, Tyndall AFB, FL). The floating docks must each include a drive-on access, one (1) set of t-bone connectors, two (2) poles with brackets to connect to existing wall, one (1) anchor post at rear, and 3' x 10' floating dock section attached for walk access and assembled to support the boats specified. The boat lifts will support up to 2900 lbs, have slip resistant surface, utilize recycled composite coupler nuts and bolts, adjustable rollers, have three-sided accessibility. The two (2) pontoon lifts must be adjustable to lift up to two (2) boats, ranging from 19' - 26' in length. All electrical work will include installing grounding per National Wire Code specifications. The electrical control units must be in weather resistant and lockable housings and will be installed on separate existing posts. The pontoon lifts and connections must be constructed to withstand saltwater conditions. The contractor shall dispose of all debris and materials off base at no additional cost to the government. The contractor shall dispose of all debris and waste materials generated by any work under this contract on a daily basis. Signs must be displayed whenever there is work in progress. Material Safety Data Sheets must be provided to and approved by the government prior to commencement of work. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 713930 applies to this procurement. The small business size standard is: $6.0 Million. This procurement is being issued as 100% Set-aside for Small Business. A site visit has been scheduled for 25 Mar 05 @ 9:00am at the Bonita Bay Marina.
