Size/Dimensions: 7 inches long X 3 inches wide X ? inch thickness. Form/Fit/Function: Arm used to connect various stages of the variable geometry system to the Actuator on the Core Module. Predominant Material: Titanium Alloy. Applicable to: F100PW100/200/220/220E Engine. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 81 each, 30 Nov 05- through 28 Feb 06, 84 each 31 Mar 06. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 31 March 2005. The anticipated award date will be 13 May 2005. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Pratt & Whitney (CAGE:52661). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This item requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of this item and to assure that prospective offerors are capable of establishing and maintaining effective process control. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
