- Description
- This is a synopsis only. The Request for Proposal will be posted to FedBizOpps approximately 25 Apr 2005. A Requirements type contract will be established for C5 Engine Maintenance Platforms (EMP). These platforms enable maintenance personnel to work on the side and top of the engines as well as the engine pylons. The EMPs include the base, scissors, drive mechanism, telescoping stair assembly and an extendable platform. The EMPs shall be transportable, having the capability to be towed and be drivable under its own power by a diesel engine. The part number shall be IAW PD04WRLEEG27. Required data for will be IAW DD1423s. The basic quantity for the C5 Engine Maintenance Platform will be a Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) of 18 EA, and 4 one-year ordering periods of BEQ 7 EA. This will be a competitive acquisition using Technically Acceptable ? Price Performance Tradeoff Procedures (TA-PPT).
