- The USACE, Philadelphia District intends to initiate a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to acquire seven (7) new 20-man inflatable life rafts in accordance with specifications. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the forma t in FAR Part 12 and 13. Specification consist of brand name or equal, Viking model #MD-12-03-05 inflatable life rafts for use onboard the Dredge McFarland in accordance with the terms and conditions of Request for Quote number W912BU-05-T-0061. Solici tation will be issued on or about 21 March 2005 with the quotes due on or about 31 March 2005. Delivery is required within 30 calendar days after receipt of award to Ft. Mifflin Project Office, Philadelphia, P.A. The Government will provide directions to site. Contractors must register on the Internet and download the RFQ package and all amendments from the following address: https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil on or after the issue date of the RFQ. If any contractor information changes during the advertisem ent period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause a delay in receiving notice of the solicitation or any amendments. Hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests will be accepted. All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD Central Contract Register (CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. Information on getting registered may be obtained by phoning 1-888-227-2423 o r by accessing the following Internet website: http://www.ccr.gov. Also, contractors who receive a federal contract of $25,000.00 or more are required by legislation to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on your employment of targeted veterans.
