Description

The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to Anteon Corp., 92 Thomas Johnson Dr., Frederick, MD 21702, on a sole source basis, non-personal service on-site for collaborative statistical support at the Walter Reed Army Instit ute of Research and Navy Medical Research Center. This is for the continuation of a current contract for ongoing research projects for an estimated 213 hours to end on July 31, 2005. To select another contractor at this time would result in months of d elay and disruption of several projects already in process for which continuity must be maintained. It also would result in an increase of cost to the Government. This procurement shall be under other and full and open competition procedures in accordanc e with FAR 6.301-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quote. At the end of this contract, a new contract will be solicited under full and open competition.
