Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of chemical toilet service, a commercial item, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses tha are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-01 of March 9, 2005. Quotations are being requested via this notice only. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation/Request for Quotations (RFQ) number is Q4780050606. This acquisition is reserved exclusively for small business concerns. The North American Standard Industrial Classifictions System Code is 562991, and the size standard is 500 employees or less. This acquisition is to furnish portable chemical toilets throughout the New River Gorge NR, Gauley River NRA, and the Bluestone River NSR beginning May 1, 2005. Interested parties shall submit a quotation based on the attached schedules. The Government reserves the right to add other units at the contract price and to delete units as needed. The following FAR provision and clauses apply: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Applicable are: 52-222-3; 52-222-21; 52-222-26; 52-233-3; 52-232-1; 52-232-8; 520233-1; 52-244-6; 52-222-19; 52-2222-36; 52-222-37; 52-222-41; 52-232-33; and 52-232-3. Full text versions of all FAR references and clauses are available at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This solicitation is for one base year and one optional year. Reference the quotation number(Q4780050606) on all your documents. Quotes must be signed, dated, and submitted by company letterhead including the company name, official point of contact name for the company, DUNS number, TIN number, address, and phone number. Contractors must be registered on the Central Contractors Register at www.ccr.gov. Submit quotations with attachments to the attention of the Contracting Officer, and mail to NPS, New River Gorge National River, P.O. Box 246, Glen Jean, WV 25846. Quotations must be received no later than 4:30 p.m., EDST, Friday, April 15, 2005.
