Description

Solicitation 8005-26 seeks helicopter flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) fire management programs at Boise, Idaho and Twin Falls, Idaho. The requirement is for one helicopter for each location. Each item will result in a separate award with its own exclusive use period as identified in the solicitation. The contract period will be one year from date of award with a government unilateral option of renewal for three additional years. The contract requires a turbine engine powered helicopter that is capable of meeting the solicitation minimum helicopter requirements. The solicitation also includes target helicopter requirements for greater capability than the minimum requirements. Offers may be submitted for aircraft that meet both the minimum and/or target aircraft requirements. The Contractor shall possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 135, 133, and 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is March 18, 2005. It is a requirement that the successful awardee be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). The solicitation will be available at this site and www.oas.gov/dam. Set aside for small business.
