Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for Base Skid Tray which must hold 900 pounds and each plastic skid must weigh less than twelve pounds, middle skid tray edges must support a capacity of 250 pounds and plastic skid tray must weigh less then twelve pounds, quantity: 100 each. (2. Skid trays shall be made out of plastic or equivalent, all edges shall be smooth and deburred, all trays must be durable (able to be dropped from four feet with no damage), weight for each skid tray, shall not exceed twelve pounds, skid tray #1 in drawing shall have a working capacity of 900 pounds, skid #2 in drawing shall have a working capacity of 250 pounds, when supported by the edges, (skid trays #1 and #2 shall have a maximum defelection of .125 inches, when loaded with 250 pounds quantity: 400 each. ALL INTERESTED VENDORS MAY REQUEST A COPY OF SPECIFICATION AND THE DRAWINGS PLEASE CALL 202-874-2318. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is unrestricted with regard to business size. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 326199, with a small business size standard is 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-05-0397. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Deliver terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth TX 76131. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be for best value. All interested small business is requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS numbers, size status (that is, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on March 28, 2005.
