- This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. LC05-S-LSP0087 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Library of Congress has a requirement to purchase: METAL FIM CANS (35mm, 1000 ft.) ? 58,400 each. The specifications and dimensions are MANDATORY and must meet the following: 35mm x 1000ft/305 m, 1.75 Depth x 10.75? (27.5cm) Diameter and when closed the dimensions should not exceed 2?deep x 11? diameter. Interest parties please submit two (2) sample by closed of business on March 23, 2005 to the attention of Beatriz Haspo, 1701 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785. No telephone calls will be accepted.
