Description
Anticipated Issue Date: 4-15-05. SERVICE, PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE/REPAIR of Mettler-Toledo meat processing equipment such as meat wrappers, scales, labelers at approximately 127 various Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) commissaries throughout the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. DeCA intends to award a sole-source, Time and Material contract under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements on an all or none basis to Mettler-Toledo. The contract will be for a Base Period starting October 1, 2005 and ending September 30, 2006 with three one-year options ending September 30, 2009. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811219 business Size Standard is $6 million. Parties may identify their interest by submitting relevant information in response to this notice, which should include a capability statement to show your experience in providing maintenance and repairs of Mettler-Toledo meat processing equipment and the ability to obtain Mettler-Toledo Repair Parts. Firms may submit a capability statement within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication of this notice.
