Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) seeks to modify an existing contract, No. PBGC01-CT-02-0627 with Randstad US, L.P. who is currently performing benefit administration services at the Miami, Florida site. The work includes, but is not limited to gathering and maintaining participant data, processing and authorizing benefit payments to eligible participants and beneficiaries, processing deceased notifications, issuing benefit determination letters, and performing plan closing and ongoing administration activities. There?s a need to increase the number of labor hours and to add a new benefits team leader position based on the increased workload associated with the trusteeship of large and small pension plans to assist in coordinating the workload for all cases. The team leader shall: provide technical support to all team members; assist supervisors with quality control in case processing; review and authorize work; assist with researching non-compliance issues, appeals referrals, and compiling data; increase overall efficiency, quality of work and customer service. It is in the best interest of the PBGC for the current provider to complete this work by modifying the existing contract which will ensure continuity of work and accuracy in the execution. This is not a request for proposal. See Note 22.
