Description

The following amendment to combined synopsis/solicitation HC1047-05-R-4020 is posted to address some questions submitted by potential offerors, to revise information provided in the amendment dated 16 March 2005, and to indicate that a posting of additional information has been accomplished as of 17 March 2005 showing the additional one (1) year option period. Question 1: Is this a new requirement? Response: This requirement is quite similar to the effort awarded under contract HC1047-04-C-4036, only one additional task has been added. Question 2: If not, who is the current incumbent? Response: The current incumbent is GS5, LLC. Question 3: What is the contract number and award value? Response: The current contract is HC1047-04-C-4036 and the award value is $784,868.00. Question 4: When was it awarded and when is it expected to end? Response: It was awarded on 1 March 2004 and is scheduled to end on 28 March 2005. In order to give offerors sufficient time to respond to this re-compete, it is anticipated that the DISA will issue a 1-month sole source purchase order to GS5, LLC to continue the effort called for under HC1047-04-C-4036 (no additional task will be added to the purchase order). Question 5: In regard to the current contract with GS5 LLC, is GS5 LLC the incumbent to solicitation HC1047-05-R-4020? Response: Yes, GS5, LLC is the incumbent. The contract specialist for this procurement has now returned to her official work site at 5111 Leesburg Pike and offerors can now address any questions to her at marina.atchison@disa.mil. A file has been uploaded to FedBizOpps on 17 March 2005 that includes the one (1) year option period. The time and date for submission of any questions as well as the time and date for submission of proposals remains unchanged.
