Description

The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), Stennis Space Center, MS has a requirement for 1-3/4 inch 8-strand, plaited nylon rope. The rope must meet NDBC Procedure 1154 Rev. B dated 06/13/2001. The quantity is 32,800 ft with options to purchase an additional 20,000 ft. The rope shall be delivered FOB-Destination to Stennis Space Center, MS. All documentation and certifications shall be delivered to and approved by NDBC prior to any shipment of rope. See attachments at this website announcement for RFQ and specifications. This solicitation is set aside for small business, see Note 1. FAR 52.225-1, Buy American Act-Supplies and 52.225-2, Buy American Act Certificate, apply to this acquisition. 52.225-2 ? Buy American Act Certificate. Buy American Act Certificate (June 2003) (a) The offeror certifies that each end product, except those listed in paragraph (b) of this provision, is a domestic end product and that the offeror has considered components of unknown origin to have been mined, produced, or manufactured outside the United States. The offeror shall list as foreign end products those end products manufactured in the United States that do not qualify as domestic end products. The terms ?component, domestic end product, end product, foreign end product, and United States are defined in the clause of this solicitation entitled Buy American Act?Supplies.
