Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 61711-0068-5 for the provision of Truck Delivery Services for Farm Products for the Federal Correctional Complex, Lompoc, California. The contractor shall provide weekly professional truck delivery services for products produced by the USP Lompoc Farm for delivery to federal institutions throughout the Western region of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. It is estimated the contract will include 31,200 miles for the base year and 31,200 miles for each of four (4)option years. The contract period shall consist of effective date of award through 12 months from effective date of award and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about March 28, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated receipt of quotes is April 28, 2005. The solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contract for which they are eligible.
