Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons-Federal Correctional Institution in Safford, Arizona intends to issue solicitation RFQ60902-023-05 and make a single award for the provision of supplying Wire Mesh Panels for segregation recreation cages. The wire mesh panels will be constructed of steel mesh with a metal channel frame. There will be 113 panels with 24 different size panels required. The contractor that receives the award will be required to do a site visit to verify measurements of all panels required, and produce a numbering system for the panels installation by the Federal Correctional Institution in Safford, Arizona. The solicitation will be available on or around March 24, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the government point of entry (GPE) www.fedbizopps.gov . All future information concerning this acquisition , including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available from any Bureau of Prisons office. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about April 4, 2005. The solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsive/responsible small businesses that submit a quote will be considered.
