Description
The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Tampa, Florida, anticipates awarding three (3), firm fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for architectural, open-ended, Architect and Engineering services. Requirement/services include but are not limited to preparation of design development drawings, construction documents, project specifications, cost estimates, as well as construction period services. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541310. This procurement is restricted to 8(a) and Emerging Small Business concerns. Performance period will be for a maximum of 48 months (one base year plus three option years). Maximum contract limitation (48 months) is $800 thousand. This contract does not include a guaranteed minimum amount. Individual task order limits are from $25,000 to $150,000. NOTE: This procurement is not restricted geographically, however, awardee must have in place an established local office located within a 200 mile radius of the VA Tampa, not later than 30 calendar days after contract award. There is no RFP/Solicitation package to download. No technical data or plan holder list will be issued. Interested firms shall submit five (5) copies of Standard Form 330 to: Contracting Officer (90C), James A. Haley Medical Center, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33612, and shall reference the announcement number (673-49-05). Evaluations will be based on, but are not limited to: Design knowledge and experience in general; design experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA); design experience with other Federal Government Agencies; design experience with medical facilities; technical competence in the type of work required (architectural); past performance on contracts with the VA and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules; location in the general geographical area; knowledge of local conditions and codes; acceptability under other appropriate evaluation criteria. Firms will be screened and evaluated by a selection board, with particular emphasis on firms knowledge and experience designing systems/projects for medical facilities, specifically for the VA. The top 5 firms will be short listed and interviewed. Interested parties shall ensure current State Licensing, shall have current registration within the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system (www.ccr.gov), as well as the VETS 100 program (http://vets100.cudenver.edu/vets100.asp).
