Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking offerors for the construction of an addition to the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. This solicitation includes all construction services including labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the construction of an addition which includes 7th and 8th floor levels totaling approximately 76,000 gross square foot. NAICS Code for this project is 233320 with Small Business Size Standards is $28.5 mil. Cost Range is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. Solicitation Documents will be available on or about April 1, 2005. Requests for documents shall be forwarded to: RTKL Associates, Inc., 1250 Connecticut Avenue, Washington DC 20036; Telephone (202) 833-4400; FAX (202) 887-5168 ask for Gloria Milhan or Helen Jeffery. When calling, be prepared to state name, address, phone number and solicitation number. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Proposal Documents are available at a cost of $175 per set, refundable upon return to RTKL Associates, Inc., at the above referenced address. Preproposal Conference and Small Business Workshop is scheduled for April 21, 2005, at 1:00 PM local time in Room C4077 building 1 Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis IN. Sealed Proposals are due to the Contracting Officer by May 10, 2005, 4:00 PM EST. There will be no public opening. The Project Manager is Todd Sanders at (847) 578-3872. The proposals will be evaluated and award will be made on the basis of both cost and technical considerations as per FAR Part 15.
