This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PLEASE CONTACT THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST FOR A COPY OF THE STATEMENT OF WORK, WAGE DETERMINATION NO. 94-2377, (WHICH IS APPLICABLE TO THIS SOLICITATION) AND 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS, OR TO SCHEDULE A SITE VISIT at (315)-772-5441. The solicitation W911S2-05-T-0069 is issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures specified in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Solicitation documents and incorporated pro visions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16. The Standard Industrial Code is 7539 (NAICS code 811118) and the business size standard is $6 million per year. This procurement is reserved for Small Business. The Request for Quote will be evaluated based on price, delivery, technical acceptability, an d responsibility of offer/quote. Furnish and deliver the following items: Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment and appliances to perform all operations in connection with the repair of eight John Deere Brand M-Gator Utility Vehicles. 1st MGATOR Install engine shortblock and gaskets, Install engine clutch, replace broken front/rear fenders, install battery, check charging system, install rear rims x 4, install 2 x new rear tires, install 1 x new front tires, replace missing front seats with bracket and hardware, replace broken steering wheel and service engine. (Parts and Labor included in price) 2nd MGATOR Install new battery, install new drive belt, replace engine with shortblock, replace engine clutch, install new seats, replace rear fender, replace starter, replace headlight. (Parts and Labor included in price) 3rd MGATOR Replace transmission, service engine, install new battery, replace engine clutch, repair front tire, replace rear fender, replace torn seats, and install new drive belts. (Parts and Labor included in price) 4th MGATOR Replace blown engine with shortblock, replace damaged fenders, install new battery, replace torn seats, replace headlights, install tubes in tires, replace missing radiator screen, and service engine. (Parts and Labor included in price) 5th MGATOR Replace 4 x broken fenders, service engine, replace torn seats, replace instrument panel, install new drive belt with clutch, install new batteries, replace broken steering wheel, install tire tubes, rebuild engine. (Parts and Labor included in price) 6th MGATOR Replace 4 x broken fenders, replace rear wheel and tire, replace engine, replace missing seats/brackets/hardware, replace missing radiator fan and shroud, replace damaged instrument panel, and install new batteries (Parts and Labor included in price) 7th MGATOR Replace both rear fenders, replace 1 x front fender, replace blown muffler and gasket, replace 1 x rear tire, install 2 x new seats, install new drive belt, install new batteries, service engine. (Parts and Labor included in price) 8th MGATOR Replace front and rear fenders, install new batteries, service engine, install new drive clutch and belt, replace missing radiator screen, replace torn seats, install 2 x rear tires, and install 2 x front tires. (Parts a nd Labor included in price) Work should be completed before 4 April 2005 (staggered returns of the vehicles is acceptable if there are any parts shortages.) FOB delivery will be to Fort Drum, NY.
