Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition bulk propane, a commercial item, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-01. Quotations are being requested via this notice only. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation/Request for Quotations (RFQ) number is Q4780050608. This acquisition is reserved exclusively for small business concerns. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System Code is 422710. This acquisition is to furnish all labor, machinery, equipment, materials and transportation for providing bulk propane fuel within 24 hours of request. There are 14 sites throughout the Park. There are nine 500 gallon tanks and five 1000 gallon tanks to be maintained with the estimate of 25,000 to 35,000 gallons per year. Set and/or replace current propane tanks with company owned tanks and maintain accordingly. This solicitation is for is for one base year and one option year. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply: 52212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52-212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commerical Items; and 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commerical Items.Applicable are: 52-222-21; 52-222-3; 52-222-26; 52-232-1; 52-238-8; 520233-1; 52-233-8; 52-233-1; 52-244-6; 52-222-19; 52-222-36; 52-222-37; 52-222-41; 52-232-33; and 52-232-3. Full text versions of all FAR references and clauses are available at http://www.arnet.gov/far. Reference the quotation number (Q4780050608) on all your documents. Quotes must be signed, dated and submitted by company letterhead including the company name, official point of contact name for the company, DUNS number, TIN number, address, and phone number. Contractors must be registered on the Central Contractors Register at www.ccr.gov. Submit quotations to the attention of the Contracting Officer, and mail to NPS, New River Gorge NR, P.O. Box 246, Glen Jean, WV 25846. Quotations must be received no later than 4:30 p.m., EDST, April 19, 2005.
